Services

Free document check for your Cyprus move, then you decide.

New to Cyprus services all begin the same way: upload your documents and a free AI check tells you how many issues it found. Fix them yourself with the free guides, pay from €29 for the checklist and pre-filled forms, or add a licensed Koufettas Law advocate's sign-off if you want one.

The AI flags issues in your documents; it never declares an application approved. New to Cyprus is not a law firm: legal review is provided by Koufettas Law.

What we do

What we help with: the five service categories

Everything sits in one of five categories. Two are live today; the other three are being built with the same model: free check first, published price, licensed review where the law is involved.

Not sure which door you need? Start at the immigration front door: it asks your situation and routes you to the right service, so you never have to guess.

Free or paid

Do you need a guide or a service?

The guides cover the same ground the services do, and they are free: every permit route, every document, the whole move. Read the one that matches your case, or take the moving to Cyprus pillar guide end to end. The services above are for when you want that work checked or done for you.

How it works

How every service works: free check, then your route, then review

The same three-step model runs through the whole silo, whichever service you use.

One thing we are strict about: the AI flags issues, it never declares an application approved. Where a verdict matters, the Koufettas Law advocate owns it, not the software.

  1. 01Free

Run the free AI document check at app.newtocyprus.com. It returns an issue count and what is missing or wrong, before you commit to anything. No card needed.

  2. 02Routed for you

We route you to the right service. A self-serve permit flow, a legal or relocation task, or a consultation for complex cases. If you are unsure, the immigration front door picks the door for you.

  3. 03Lawyer sign-off

Pick a tier and pay through Stripe. On the Reviewed tier a Koufettas Law advocate checks your file and signs off before you submit anything to a government office.

Pricing

What it costs: the price ladder at a glance

One ladder covers every service, from a free check to full legal representation. Exact prices live on each service's own page and at checkout; government fees are always listed separately, never folded into ours.

    Consultation

For a typical permit application that means €0 to try, €29 to 49 to self-serve, and €99 to 149 to have a licensed advocate sign off your file. Agencies typically charge €300 to 900 and lawyers €500 to 2,000 for the same routes, so the Reviewed tier typically runs 70 to 90% cheaper than full representation.

Do you need a lawyer at all?

For most straightforward routes and renewals, no. What you need is certainty your documents are right before you queue at a government office. That is what the free check and the Reviewed tier are for. For complex cases you do want a lawyer, and we route you to one honestly.

The agency and lawyer figures are typical Cyprus market ranges as of July 2026, shown for comparison only; they vary by provider. Complex cases route up to full Koufettas Law representation through a consultation, the same firm, no conflict. No one can guarantee a government approval, and we never claim to.

Who we are

Who's behind these services

New to Cyprus is a portal and technology provider, not a law firm. Legal review and sign-off are provided by Koufettas Law, a licensed Cyprus firm, and the named reviewer is Harris Koufettas, advocate of the Cyprus Bar Association (R.N.4466), who also trains the AI.

  • Not a law firm
  • Licensed advocate, Bar R.N.4466
  • Human sign-off on the Reviewed tier
  • DigiCare Insurance, disclosed parent

The AI tier is not legal advice. The AI flags issues in your documents; only the human Reviewed tier carries a licensed advocate's sign-off, and on that tier the advocate owns the verdict, not the software.

There is no author byline on service pages by design: the trust comes from a disclosed operator and reviewer, not a persona. Read our editorial standards.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What services does New to Cyprus offer?

Five categories: immigration services (a route-finder for moving to Cyprus), residence permit services (self-serve applications with optional lawyer review), legal services (contract review and certified translations), relocation services (car registration, utility setup), and a premium consultation for complex cases. Immigration and permit services are live today; the rest are rolling out.

Which services are live right now?

The immigration front door and the residence permit services hub are live, with the Yellow Slip (MEU1) application flow available end to end. Legal services, relocation services and the premium consultation are coming soon; other permits show a Notify me option until each flow opens.

How much do the services cost?

The ladder runs from €0 (the free AI document check) through €29 to 49 self-serve, €99 to 149 with a Koufettas Law advocate's review and sign-off, €199 to 299 done-with-you, €19 to 29 for renewals, and €500 to 2,000 for full legal representation in complex cases. Government fees are always shown separately.

What is the free AI check and what does it not do?

You upload your documents at app.newtocyprus.com and the AI returns an issue count and what is missing or wrong, free and before any payment. It flags issues only: it never declares an application approved, and it is not legal advice. On the Reviewed tier a licensed Koufettas Law advocate owns the verdict.

Is New to Cyprus a law firm?

No. New to Cyprus is a portal and technology provider. Legal review and sign-off are provided by Koufettas Law, a licensed Cyprus firm, with Harris Koufettas (Cyprus Bar Association R.N.4466) as the disclosed reviewer.

Do the services cover Northern Cyprus?

No. Every service covers the Republic of Cyprus only. We do not handle immigration, property or legal matters in the Turkish-occupied north.

Where should I start?

If you know which permit you need, go straight to the permit services hub. If you are not sure, start at the immigration front door, which matches your situation to a route, or simply run the free AI check and let it route you.
