I have practised Cyprus law since 2010, when I founded Koufettas Law in Paphos. Mine is a partner-led practice covering eight connected areas of Cyprus law, with a strong focus on international clients — people moving here, buying property here, or setting up a business here. I handle matters personally rather than passing them down a chain, so clients deal directly with a senior lawyer.

On New to Cyprus I write the legal guides and review the immigration, tax and property pages before they publish. My job is to make sure every fee, deadline and legal requirement on the site reflects the law as it actually stands today — drawn from gov.cy, the Civil Registry and Migration Department and the Land Registry, not from forum hearsay.
